NOVA 2 Review

The first NOVA showed everyone what hardcore gaming could be like on the iPhone. Now with Gameloft's new game NOVA 2 it has now pushed the bar higher again. With it's sleek new graphics and controls this game is a huge improvement from the original. When I first played the original I found that the gameplay was a bit slack because the controls were a quite hard and the multiplayer was horrible. NOVA 2 has changed my view of the series totally, the graphics are top notch and the controls are great for what it used to be. Multiplayer has improved also, now has uses a ranking system like Modern Combat 2.

N.O.V.A. 2 also includes vehicles. The bike is a cool addition, but the giant mechs you can hijack and use to wipe out entire army's of alien's are the real deal here. When you climb into the cockpit of a mech and look out across a giant view of hordes of aliens, you get a real feel for the greatness of N.O.V.A. 2.

All in all I have really enjoyed this game I love the new features like vehicles and mech. The new graphic show a new side of the iPhone that is very unknown. But the gameplay screen is full of buttons making the gameplay get a bit hard to play at times the difficulty is also quite hard I found.

Slice it review

Slice it is a game of math and logic where you must slice a shape into a certin amount of slices using a small number of cuts. The first few levels are pretty easy but a you progress through the game it gets a lot harder. The controls are easy using two finger at each end of the line moving the cut to the right place you want it. To pass a level you must slice the shape as even as possible. There are a couple of different themes to choose giving it a different feel to it, the themes are candy and original. Throughout out the game you will get hint point which you can spend to get hints to help you through the game. Overall I enjoy playing this game choosing from the themes trying to figure out how to finish  levels with a bit of help from some hints. Here's a puzzle try to slice this using three slice's to cut it into eight pieces as evenly as possible.

ILLUSIA Review

Gamevil has done it again with an amazing new RPG game for the Iphone.  It’s gripping story line tells of a young child trying to pass their exam soon finding them self in a quest to save Aztaran from a great evil. The game play is very smooth but the menus can get a bit tricky to navigate otherwise its one of the best control systems I’ve seen. The graphic are very impressive and are full of colourful creatures to fight and lots of gear to customize your character, giving it a Japanese anime feeling to it. It has a built in network system where you can send items and money to your friends while you can buy heroic gear using itunes, there is also an auction system where you can sell your items to anyone online that will pay for it. This game is well worth the money I couldn’t keep my hands off it.

Fruit ninja

Fruit ninja is one of those games where you just cant stop playing. Fruit ninja is a fruit slicing where fruit is shot into the air where you must slice it with your finger if you miss it will fall to the ground and you will lose a life. There are a few different mode to play the first is the newest arcade mode where there are lot of ways of getting different power ups this would have to be my favorite the second is classic where you must slice as many as possible before you lose all your lives. With multiplayer features you can play against your friends through gamecenter to find the best.Great game very addictive and recommend it if you like quick finger games.
